How to Use

Apply to clean skin using a pea-sized amount.

Is it suitable for sensitive or rosacea-prone skin?

Yes. γ-PGA is non-irritating and helps reduce dehydration-related redness and discomfort often associated with sensitive or rosacea-prone skin.

Can it replace hyaluronic acid? Which is more hydrating?

γ-PGA holds up to four times more water than hyaluronic acid.
However, combining γ-PGA and HA provides broader, multi-layer hydration for longer-lasting results — which is exactly what this formula does.

Is it a serum or a cream?

It is an emulsion, similar to a lightweight lotion.
It is best used between your serum and your face cream.

Is it enough on its own for dehydrated combination skin after ELMW?

It can provide excellent hydration, but we recommend applying it after your serum and before your moisturiser for optimal barrier support.

Can it be used with retinol?

Yes — before or after retinol.
If used before retinol, it does not replace a soothing serum (such as Yellow Plasma, which we recommend before retinoid treatments).
Y-PGA focuses on hydration rather than calming.

Why are silicones used in this formula?

SILIMULSE (PEG-10 Dimethicone + Dimethicone/Vinyl Dimethicone Crosspolymer) is used as a cold-process emulsifier, allowing oil and water to mix without heat — protecting sensitive actives.

It is volatile, meaning it evaporates after application and does not penetrate the skin, ensuring stability without occlusion.
